Massimo Zecchin has a profound love for nature, his works - characterized by a perfect rendering of colours, atmospheres and minute details - convey breathtaking views to the eyes of the beholder: imposing mountains surrounded by lush vegetation stand out against golden skies a heavenly blue, beaches and sea gulfs seem to stretch out gently as if wanting to sunbathe, as if wanting to be contemplated in all their magnificence. Zecchin is a sensitive artist, who aspires to Beauty with an expressiveness imbued with acute realism.

Impeccable pastel technique rich in nuances, expressive and profoundly aesthetic, capable of expressing the realities that most excite him and making the observer participate in his delicate visual harmonies.

The landscape formulas weave silent atmospheres that lead to meditations, and signal feelings, memories and sensations evoked by his precious gestures.

In Massimo Zecchin's works the colors of the earth boast, architectural structures, castles and ancient ruins emerge, the works are a continuous artistic testimony where the chromatic flow alternates with the disruptive brightness that dialogue together producing variations of tone and depth. The naturalistic rendering suggests elements of a story, the works enhance the congenial detail of the pencil techniques where a detailed narrative vocation of places and atmospheric changes is deduced.
The hyper-realistic works of Massimo Zecchin express an inner dimension, the line is well designed and elegant, there are no violent tones but skilful touches that enhance the gradations of hues, in each work the observer sees the poetry of the color and the line that they analyze especially the natural landscape.
Daily scenarios, humble where human presence does not appear, the protagonist of the work is nature and the architectural structure, the works reproduce the delicacy of light generating particular atmospheres that have the task of accompanying the viewer in the illustrated place. Massimo Zecchin is an attentive landscape painter, the composition of the scene is given by the confident stroke of the pencil, the artist paints directly with color creating, with meticulous precision, an essential vision of the landscape, creating delicate atmospheres. The shaded color predominates over the design, the colors and shades enhance the refined poetics of the chosen place by bringing out the romantic poetics of the sublime and the picturesque.
The works present themselves as a recognition of the landscape, a value to be protected in its full richness and complexity, the frame of the landscape expanses, the mountains, the hills, the sky come alive in Massimo Zecchin's elegant and incisive design.
The artist enhances, through his graphic dexterity and his elaboration of shades and shades, all that is visible of a land, the aesthetic connotations described through elements to look at are deduced, the works represent the panoramic beauties of our Italian lands.
The works lead us to a discovery of the truth, a reading of ancient memory that still preserves the romantic vision of a place today, they invite us to establish a relationship with nature.
A romantic painting that combines space and time, the works highlight not only the natural richness but highlight the particular technique of the artist who with meticulous care creates distinct shades that are well shaded and imbued with light.
The natural environment and the countryside, the architectural structures built by the hand of man with effort and sacrifice seduce us with their infinite radiance, showing us the knowledge of the habits of the past where everything was made in accordance with respect for the environment. Poetry, elegance and vital energy come together in the work of Massimo Zecchin making us appreciate the technique of colored powders applied to the paper and where the softness of the effects well created by the artist can be seen.

With the eye of a scientist, attentive to the details of nature and the anthropic landscape, Zecchin exploits the potential of pencils and creates delicate and precious drawings, such as this one dedicated toPorta Bassano of Cittadella, in the Paduan area, with a hyper-realistic taste in the description of the detail, but lyrical and evocative in the clear and bright rendering of the colour.

Wide-ranging works of absolute natural stillness, expressions of a gesture that supports the vision of harmonious naturalist views with the help of a sober and balanced palette.

Images that excite and reflect serene tonal agreements expressed with excellent handwriting and fervent creativity magically translated by his emotional intuition.

Refined, elegant, ethereal, Massimo Zecchin's landscapes are extremely careful and precise representations of some of the Italian territorial beauties, first explored with eyes and experience, then immortalized on paper with an accuracy imbued with sensitivity; the artist skilfully uses colored pencils on textured paper, creating an effect that combines – beautifully – detail and nuance. Sublime pleasure getting lost in the details and imagining oneself ideally within the scene.

The artistic making of Massimo Zecchin thrives on drawing, on sign accuracy, but also on spot-on, harmonic colours, all in an almost perfect balance. The works appear purified of useless frills, the colors well studied and juxtaposed, and the final effect changes according to the different roughness of the chosen papers or cardboards. Some of his views are enchanting and open up to infinite spaces from which one would never want to leave.
